We’re shining a spotlight on the heart of 1nHealth—our team. They’re the ones who bring the passion, creativity, and drive that power everything we do.
Up today: someone who keeps our team, our tech, and patients safe at every step of the enrollment journey. Let’s give it up for Steven Beaudrot, 1Health’s Security Specialist.
Discover the most fulfilling aspect of Steven’s job, what might surprise you about his day-to-day, and much more.
What's your current role at 1nHealth?
I’m the Security Specialist.
If someone shadowed you for a day, what would surprise them most about your job?
Depending on the day in question, a shadow would most likely be surprised how my title does not truly encompass the actual day-to-day work that I conduct.
In most companies, security specialists tend to focus only on security standards, laws, policies and regulations, while at 1nHealth, the job is expanded to also assist with Q/A testing, release notes, application support (internal/ external apps), tech support, and more.
What’s a moment in your role that gives you a “this is why I do this” feeling?
Successfully passing our ISO audits with little to no findings is always a rewarding moment. It reflects the hard work, attention to detail, and collaboration from everyone involved. These audits go beyond just meeting compliance—they show that our systems and processes genuinely support our commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
It’s a clear indication that the work we’re doing is making a tangible impact on both the organization and the patients we serve, ensuring safety and continually improving the care we provide. Achieving this gives me a deep sense of pride and reinforces the purpose behind everything we do.

How do you relax and re-energize outside of work?
I’m a big outdoors person, frequently doing biking and hiking trails, outdoor music festivals, rock and mountain climbing—all stemming from my history as an Eagle Scout.
The above picture is from this year’s company retreat. I’d never gotten to do an ATV tour before so I figured… why not?
What’s the most satisfying problem you’ve gotten to solve lately?
Since introducing workflows, we’ve uncovered opportunities to clarify and improve areas where information wasn’t always clear—for both our team and the people using our application. So any time, I am able to assist with determining if the workflow statuses are set-up properly or if there is truly a bug in our system, is quite satisfying.
What’s something you’ve learned at 1nHealth that you think everyone should know—whether they work here or not?
One thing I’ve learned at a 1nHealth is how essential effective communication and coordination are in ensuring patients get the care they need. The referral process is often a critical part of a patient’s healthcare journey, and even small delays or miscommunications can significantly impact their outcomes.
Whether you’re in healthcare or not, understanding how interconnected these systems are and the role each person plays in a patient’s journey can really highlight the importance of collaboration, organization, and empathy in healthcare. Everyone deserves seamless access to the right care at the right time.
