The challenge

Innovative Empathy: Non-segmental vitiligo impacts millions, yet recruiting patients for trials can be difficult due to stigma and awareness gaps. Enrollment requires a thoughtful, patient-centric approach. A sponsor partnered with 1nHealth to provide a 7-month digital recruitment program for adults aged 18-75 years old with a diagnosis of non-segmental vitiligo​ across more than 40 sites.

The results

Hope Through Research: In the eight months prior to 1nHealth leading enrollment, the previous recruitment vendor managed just 14 total ICFs and averaged 1.1 enrollments per month. Within six months, we had totaled 49 ICFs and 5.1 enrollments per month. Advancing medical innovation for conditions like non-segmental vitiligo is essential to improving patient outcomes. With limited treatment options available, clinical trials play a vital role in uncovering new therapies.
