Who are we looking for?
Participants in the Abdominal Fat Reduction Study will need to be in the range of average weight to slightly overweight, and generally healthy, with belly fat that does not fold when standing. Participants must be willing to receive MRIs and up to 4 series of injections (once every 3 weeks) at one of our site locations, as well as attending screening and checkup visits as scheduled.
What is the purpose of this study?
Cosmetic procedures for reducing abdominal fat often require surgery or other invasive procedures. Researchers with Caliway Biopharmaceuticals are testing a promising alternative, a series of injections, as a non-invasive option.
Initial studies of the investigational injections have shown promising results in abdominal fat reduction and safety. This study is a continuation of that research.
