Background

After a successful digital patient recruitment campaign the year before, 1nHealth partnered with a sponsor for an even more difficult target audience–EM Lyme rashes

Study Particulars

  • With the COVID-19 pandemic, this started out as an inconsistent enrollment, except for July 4th weekend.
  • This was a particularly challenging cohort to recruit, given that we were targeting EM Lyme patients specificially.

Approach

  • 1nHealth advertised on Facebook, Google, Reddit, and TikTok.
  • Site coordination was a challenge but not impossible as 23 sites across 12 states needed a steady flow of quality referrals and enrollments.

Outcomes

  • Despite starting recruitment after peak Lyme disease season, 1nHealth was still able to deliver more than 300 qualified referrals per week from mid-June to mid-July.
