Comprehensive Screenings

We’re in the business of quality, not quantity

Whether you’re applying for a credit card or in the market for a new car—chances are you’ll have to provide personal information before you even consider making a purchase. How much money did you make last year? What does your credit history look like? How long have you lived at your current address?

Companies know that the answers to these questions will tell them who is most likely to benefit from their services and buy their products for years to come.

In short, it’s a way to quickly identify if you’re an ideal customer.

Why 1nHealth is uncompromising in patient screening

Patient recruitment isn’t any different. Having strong screening processes in place are important for any clinical research because they pinpoint participants who may qualify for a study prior to having them move on to the informed consent process.

But comprehensive pre-screening is often overlooked in favor of keeping participant pools as large as possible for longer periods of time. That’s the wrong perspective.

Here’s what we focus on to ensure that patients don’t fall through the cracks, stay engaged through the recruitment process, and eventually lead to high-quality referrals:

Streamlined

Your patients have an expectation of a seamless journey to enrollment and near-instant communication along the way. That’s why each step of the recruitment process makes it clear what they can expect next with automated feedback.

Criteria

We’re not in the business of prioritizing quantity over quality. It’s imperative that we develop comprehensive inclusion/exclusion criteria and ask the right questions on screening surveys.

Proactive

A significant number of screen failures occur because patients are confused or concerned about the consent document. 1nHealth starts early in the process, preparing patients for consent with patient-friendly language.

Digitized

1nHealth specializes in digital screening tools because that’s what allows us to capture, standardize, integrate, and distribute vast amounts of patient-specific information from multiple sources.

1nHealth in action

Case Study: Adjustment Disorder

1. Research

The Sponsor needed to recruit 45 adults who have AjDA due to a life experience in the past three months for a US-based Phase 2a study with 4 sites. Recruitment was behind pace by 6 months; the Sponsor asked 1nHealth to replace the previous effort in a rescue capacity.

2. Trial design

1nHealth reviewed existing study materials and took a fresh visually dynamic approach to ad content. This concept activated across Facebook and TikTok, driving leads to study sites who worked collaboratively with us on screening leads and qualifying them for enrollment.

3. Trial management

Sponsor asked 1nHealth to increase the enrollment target due to the success of the campaign.

Conclusion

ICFs per week concluded at 10x higher than with previous direct-to-patient approach.
